Hi, I'm Taylary, a designer from Singapore who enjoys learning different languages.

Learning the Korean language proved to be challenging for me, mainly because I found it difficult to discern the meaning behind the ovals and circles used in the written characters. Unlike the distinctive pictograms found in Chinese language, Korean words appeared more abstract and lacked visual representation.

Nevertheless, one day, as I struggled to recall the spellings of specific words, inspiration struck. I decided to associate each word with a corresponding mental image, creating a visual link between the word and its meaning. This new approach injected a sense of enjoyment, making the learning process more memorable and less overwhelming.

As I began visualising words, I noticed an improvement in my ability to retain them. This served as motivation to challenge myself further and visualise an increasing number of words. My language learning journey transformed into an exciting adventure, fuelled by my passion for languages.
